I am Ezequiel Ortega, a name that resonates with perseverance and vision. I am the founder of Seletk Shop, an ecommerce dedicated to exclusive products that are difficult to find in physical stores. At 42 years old, I have traveled a path full of challenges, learnings and constant reinventions that have led me to create a one-of-a-kind business. This is my story.

The Beginning of an Entrepreneur

At just 26 years old, I opened my first business, a racing motorcycle workshop. My passion for motorcycles and speed drove me to create a space where motorcycle lovers could find the best service and advice. The workshop prospered thanks to my dedication and attention to detail, but I was constantly restless to explore new opportunities.

First Attempts and Failures

After several successful years with the workshop, I decided to diversify my efforts. First, I launched a gas leak alarm company, seeking to innovate in the home security sector. Then, I ventured into the events industry, hoping to combine my creativity with my entrepreneurial spirit. However, these businesses did not achieve the expected success.

Despite the failures, I didn’t give up. I kept my shop running while continuing to experiment with new ideas, learning from every setback and gaining valuable lessons that shaped me as an entrepreneur.

Discovering the Online World

The real revelation came when I decided to launch an online motorcycle parts store. This project combined my knowledge of the sector with the growing trend of e-commerce. The store was a success, and I discovered my passion for the online world. I was fascinated by the possibility of reaching customers beyond my locality and offering products to motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere.

A New Beginning

At the age of 38, a motorcycle accident changed the course of my life. The accident kept me away from business for a while, forcing me to reflect on my future. I decided to leave everything behind and move to another country, in search of a new beginning. With effort and determination, I managed to stabilize myself financially in my new life.

Birth of Seletk Shop

With renewed energy and vision, I decided to start a new project: Seletk Shop. I wanted to create a space where customers could find exclusive products that were difficult to find in conventional stores. I invested time in researching and discovering unique products that would stir passions and spark the interest of my customers.

I set about exploring markets and suppliers around the world, looking for items that stood out for their quality, rarity, and emotional value. I wanted every Seletk Shop customer to have the opportunity to discover something special, something they didn't know they needed until they found it in my store.
